July 26th we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary...by going to baptism class! (If you can call that celebrating.) Actually it wasn't too bad and it only lasted about 30 minutes. It kicked off our first of four different baby classes in the next month.
July 29th marked week 31! And we "celebrated" by going to breastfeeding class--fun, fun! I think Dave paid more attention than me, imagine that!
31 weeks--feeling huge!
That weekend (July 31st) we actually celebrated our anniversary by going to a Twins Game. We scored some sweet players seats from friends and had a great time in the wonderfully hot and humid July evening! And the Twins won!
August 5th marked week 32 and the next day I had an OB check-up. Everything is still looking good! Measuring a few weeks ahead at 34 weeks, but the Nurse Practitioner didn't think too much of it. Now I'm on every 2 week check-ups for the next month until my last month when I go in every week! I guess we are in the home-stetch now!
August 7th was my family baby shower hosted by my mom, sister and sister-in-law! A HUGE thanks to them for all that they did for the shower! And thank you to everyone that attended and all of the great gifts! We are very fortunate to have such wonderful family! Now we are busy getting everything put away and put together (that's Dave's job)! ;o)
