She was very wiggly for her pictures this month! I was making her smile which made her squirm all over! It made for some difficult picture-taking and blurry pictures!
Here are Maggie's 2 month stats from her visit to the pediatrician today on her actual 2 month birthday (yeah, nice parents we are, huh??):
13 lbs, 8 oz (88th percentile)
24.3 inches long (91st percentile)
16 inch head circumference (67th percentile)
Her doctor says that she is just "perfect" and acts more like a 4 month old! She says to watch out because Maggie will be rolling over soon! Also we'll discuss starting cereal when we go to her next appointment.
The sad part of the appointment was when Maggie had to get her shots! Two shots--one in each thigh--and one oral immunization. She did really well with only a little crying then fell asleep in her carseat. Little does she know that she has to get more shots in two more months! So sad!
Well, what else has Maggie been up to? She has started to go to bed consistently between 8 and 9pm and sleeps until 3:30 or 4:30am (sometimes even a little later, rarely she wakes up a little earlier)!! Then she goes right back to sleep for another 3 or 4 hours--it has been wonderful!
We continue to work on bottles because within the last two weeks Maggie has decided that she doesn't like them as much as breastfeeding--that little stinker!
Maggie is just getting over her first cold! It's been so sad to hear her little cough and congested nose! At least it was just that and nothing worse! This is us cuddling this past weekend while she was sick. She never falls asleep like this so she must have been really tired!

Trying to get a smiling picture--she's always all smiles on her changing table getting her diaper changed! Guess that would make me happy too! ;o)
