The Baby Jail

Yes, that's right the baby jail! It's not as bad as it sounds at all! I decided that instead of child-proofing every room in the house and putting up gates everywhere that I would contain Maggie in her own little "playroom." I figured that we weren't going be purchasing a dining room table any time soon so therefore the dining room could be the new playroom...for a few years anyway!

It's great! There's foam flooring on the hardwood floor, a few of her toys, and it's on the main level. One of the "walls" on the jail plays music and has a little activity center. Maggie actually loves it! And so do I! She crawls in and out of it and when I need to step away to do something (i.e. run upstairs to to laundry or make dinner/lunch in the kitchen), I know she's safe. I just lock the door and she plays and plays!
