We officially have a...TODDLER!!

That's right, we have put away everything "baby!" Yesterday we put away the last of the baby equipment (her jumperoo). Last week the baby toys were packed away to make room for the new Christmas presents (don't worry, she wasn't spoiled at all!) ;o)

December was a month of many changes for Maggie. We started out the beginning of the month with getting four more teeth!! Her first set of molars on both the top and bottom. This now brings her teeth total to 12!! We'll have to be heading to the dentist soon, I guess.

We also started having Maggie drink her milk from a cup because she absolutely refused to drink it from a sippy! She's too smart! She drinks water no problem from a sippy cup but knows when you switch it out for milk! The stinker! So we just decided to go straight to a cup and she's been doing just great! And we stopped giving Maggie bottles and cut out her evening bottle a few weeks ago. I was worried that this would totally have her waking up at night because she was hungry, but so far no issues at all!

Maggie loves to walk and walk and walk! Her latest is running! She loves to be chased. She started to go down the steps backwards by herself too. Within the past few weeks Maggie has started to use the sign for "more" so that has been very helpful when feeding her to know if she's done eating or not. And her cutest newest 'trick' is putting her finger to her lips and saying "shhh." Well, really it's more like two fingers in her mouth and saying "ssss." It's so stinking cute! It started at daycare when my mom would tell her, "Shhh, the babies are sleeping." Maggie thinks she's pretty funny when she does this!

And finally, we had her big 15 month appointment last week. Only two shots (one in each arm) and only a few tears with one of the shots. Overall, she's perfect (of course we know this already)! ;o) Her doctor was impressed that she was drinking from a cup! Now we just have to work on getting her to say words.
Here are Maggie's stats from the appointment:

Weight: 23 lbs 13 oz (66th percentile)
Height: 32.25 in (94th percentile)
Head circumference: 18.5 in (80th percentile)

And of course, Maggie pictures...
