That Sunday we went to Dave's parents' house for a little visit and we took Maggie's first four generation picture (we still have to get one with my grandma, mom, Maggie and me).
On Monday, October 4th the home health nurse came for a visit. Maggie weighed in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces!! They want babies back at their birth weight by 2 weeks of age--well, our little over-achiever did it at 6 days--and then some! I guess when you're a good eater that's easy to do! Monday was also our first walk around the neighborhood. We were just lucky to have such great weather for that first week at home together!!
A week later (October 11th) we went in for Maggie's first doctor's visit, just her well-baby check-up. She weighed in at 9 pounds, 8 ounces (76th percentile)!! She slept through the whole visit! The doctor said she was perfect and to just keep her doing what she's doing--eating, sleeping, pooping and looking cute!
It's hard to believe that she's already 2 weeks old! Well, really 2 weeks and 1 day--it's already gone by WAY too quickly! Dave went back to work yesterday so it was just Maggie and me at home. She was great and I was even brave enough to venture out with her on my own! (Just a quick trip to Michael's.)
