4 Months

Here are the 4 month stats for Miss Maggie:

Weight...16 pounds 8 ounces...83rd percentile
Height...26.7 inches...95th percentile
Head circumference...16.9 inches...70th percentile

The pediatrician said that Maggie was just perfect once again! Great growth and hitting all of her milestones. We can start cereal with her anytime, but haven't made the attempt yet--our weekends have just been too busy! Maggie also had to get 3 shots and an oral vaccine--no fun! She handled them well, but her sleep was a little affected for the next few nights. We seem to be back on track now!

What else has Miss Mags been up to?
Well, as you can see from the previous post and video she's rolling over!! She rolled over from her back to tummy the week before she turned four months. Now she just has to figure out how to roll back onto her back! Maggie's usually pretty content to play for awhile on her tummy, but she definitely lets you know when she's had enough!
She has definitely found her hands (which are always in her mouth) and realizes that she can use them to reach out and touch or grab things. She's found her thumb many times, but I try to substitute her pacifier for it as quickly as I can!
Maggie is a very happy baby and will smile most times that she is talked to, but the best is in the morning when I go and get her out of the crib--she just lights up with the biggest smile! It's the BEST!

These videos are from about a month ago. Maggie is very vocal, as you will see. She will talk and talk! On this particular day she had me cracking up! It sounds like she is yelling at her toys on the exersaucer and then the fish on the swing! I promise, she isn't mad at all, just talking away! She was all smiles when she was done with her scolding or whatever she was saying.
