Here are Maggie's 6 month stats:
Weight: 18 pounds, 7 ounces (68th %)
Height: 28 inches (92nd%)
Head circumference: 18 inches (93rd %)
We still have a tall girl! I think the nurse measured her head wrong because Maggie moved at the last second. I re-measured her at home and she's really more like 17.5 inches. Only two shots at this appointment! And she only cried for one of them! The best is now we can use motrin since she's 6 months old--what a difference! Also, right at this time, unknown to us, Maggie was cutting her front two bottom teeth! So really, thank goodness for motrin!
What else has Maggie been up to?
**She's eating solids a lot better! She loves sweet potatoes, squash and any fruit! Just this week Maggie has decided that baby cereal isn't too bad either. She gobbles everything up and then wants more! Yay, she's finally liking her food!
**As I mentioned above, Maggie cut her first two teeth on April 2nd! And there have to be more to follow soon! She's still chewing on EVERYTHING like crazy!
**Maggie finally rolled over from her tummy to her back. She's a master roller from back to tummy--2 seconds flat!
**Lots and lots of giggling! At the funniest things!
**And the best newest thing, Maggie is taking better naps!!! (Knock on wood because it seems whenever I think we've improved in this area and I make mention of it, she shows me who's boss!) Taking at least an hour or longer in both the morning and afternoon.
Two new teeth!
Time for a big girl walk--facing forward! (Yes, she loves her sunglasses and hasn't taken them off yet!)
That's it for this post because soon I'll have to post her 7 month stuff! I'll try and get some of the videos up soon too.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words, thoughts and prayers for our family over the past few weeks. We are all doing well and are now trying to catch up with everything. Everything that was done for us was greatly appreciated. We will miss Jim/Grandpa greatly, but have many wonderful memories that we will share with Maggie.
